Juan

Juan is the founder and owner of INCeption Body Art, and the creative force at the heart of the studio since opening its doors in Bexhill in 2017.

With a natural artistic talent that dates back to his childhood in Bloemfontein, South Africa, Juan's path to tattooing was anything but conventional. After travelling to the UK he built a successful career as a Resourcing Manager in the aviation industry — but art has a way of finding you. It was a single tattoo, a design entirely his own, that changed the course of everything. Juan has been tattooing clients since 2013, specialising in colour and black & grey realism, with a particular gift for portraiture that captures the true personality and emotion of every subject. He works across all styles and embraces fully custom designs, bringing the same level of dedication and precision to every piece — whether it's a client's first tattoo or the final session of a full sleeve. He is proud to be sponsored by Tattoo Everything Supplies as part of their Elite Team, and by Ink Doctor as part of their artist roster.
